Privacy Policy

DailyTools is built to be privacy-friendly. Here’s what happens when you use the tools on this site.

Do you store the text/JSON I paste?

The tools are designed to work without saving your pasted content to a database. Some tools run server-side (for example: diffing text, similarity scoring, JSON formatting/repair), which means your input is sent to the server to generate a result. Your input is processed to compute the response and then discarded after the result is returned (not saved to a database).

Do you log my input?

We do not log the content you paste into the tools. Server calls use your input only for processing and do not store it after the response is generated. Like most websites, the server may keep standard operational logs that do not include your pasted content (for example: request timestamps and status codes). Avoid pasting secrets you can’t afford to expose.

Tracking & analytics

The site does not require an account or sign-up. We use Umami (a privacy-focused analytics tool) for basic, aggregate traffic insights such as page views (which pages are visited) to help improve the site. We do not use it to record the content you paste into tools.
